Teaching

The team contribute to teaching on a range of courses, including Health Promotion, Reproductive and Sexual Health Research and Principles of Social Research which form part of the MSc in Public Health. These courses are taught in-house and also via distance learning and address low, middle and high-income settings

We also run, jointly with the Department of Population Health, the Sexual Health course which is compulsory for students on the Masters course in Sexual and Reproductive Health Research but is also taken by a large number of students on other courses. This course adopts a holistic concept of sexual health and applies an essentially social perspective to its exploration, using both theoretical and applied perspectives.
